Chiefs’ Alex Smith: Offense came up short in preseason opener

The Kansas City Chiefs’ first-team offense mustered 33 yards in three possessions in Thursday’s preseason opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. The ugly numbers: One turnover, two first downs, three points.
