U.S. women’s national team calls up five FC Kansas City players

Five FC Kansas City players were added to the U.S. women’s national team training-camp roster in preparation for matches against France on June 14 and 19.
The Blues will be represented by goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart, forward Sarah Hagen, midfielder Lauren Holiday, forward Amy Rodriguez and defender Becky Sauerbrunn. Hagen will complete her season with Bayern Munich on June 8 and join FC Kansas City for her National Women’s Soccer League debut before leaving for training.
The U.S. team is 6-2-2 this season and is unbeaten in its last three games, with two victories against China PR and a draw against Canada on May 8.
