Kelvin Herrera, Tim Collins falter as Royals lose 4-3 to Angels

The day after the Royals’ bullpen delivered seven scoreless innings, they coughed up a three-run lead Sunday and cost the club a chance for a series victory over a talented opponent, losing 4-3 to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. In the seventh, Kelvin Herrera wrecked a commendable effort from starter Jason Vargas. Then, in the eighth, Tim Collins allowed his first home run of the season.
