Rain washed out the Ban Johnson Baseball League’s championship-series games on Wednesday and Thursday, but the show will go on, and conclude, on Friday.
Originally scheduled as a best-of-five series, the championship will be decided in a best-of-three format. The BJ Raiders and Regal Plastic teams are tied 1-1, with Regal Plastic rallying from seven runs down to win 10-8 Monday and the Raiders taking a 16-15, extra-innings slugfest in Game 2.
Friday’s winner-take-all finale will start at 7 p.m. at the Missouri 3&2 Complex, 9600 Blue River Road.
The showcase summer league for collegiate talent is celebrating its 90th anniversary season this summer.
