Lexi Hart

SCHOOL: Truman

YEAR: Sophomore

SPORT: Track and field

Hart won the triple jump and the long jump at the Missouri Class 4, Sectional 4 meet Saturday. Her triple jump of 39 feet, 3 inches would have been good enough to win the state title last May. She will compete in both events at the state meet Friday and Saturday in Jefferson City.

Parker Allen

SCHOOL: Heritage Christian Academy

YEAR: Freshman

SPORT: Golf

Allen shot a 79 to win his Kansas Class 2A regional in Pleasanton on Monday and lead Heritage Christian Academy to a third-place finish, which earned the Chargers a state tournament bid in the program’s first year. He won four tournaments in the regular season and was the Crossroads Conference champion.
