The Big 12 and the Sprint Center announced Wednesday that tickets for the conference’s men’s basketball tournament March 12-15 have officially sold out. The Big 12 men’s tournament has sold out every year it has been held in the Sprint Center — in 2008 and from 2010 through this year.
Several streets near the Sprint Center will be closed this week for the Big 12 Mens Basketball Championship tournament. According to the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association.
Beer and wine will be available inside Sprint Center for next week’s Big 12 Championship.
Apologies were offered by both sides on Sunday, less than a day after Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart pushed Texas Tech fan Jeff Orr during a game. As the Big 12 season enters its final week, the most fascinating race is for second place. Kansas State, Iowa State, Texas and Oklahoma are all tied with 10 conference victories. Each could finish second as easily as they could finish fifth.
