Add another Missouri football player’s name to those preseason watch lists.

Evan Boehm, a junior center for the Tigers, appeared on the Rimington Trophy’s 2014 Fall Watch List, which was announced Tuesday.

Boehm, a Lee’s Summit West graduate, is one of 66 centers selected by the committee, which will present the award to the nation’s best center in January.

Boehm, who is one of 11 SEC centers on the list, started all 14 games at center last season for a Missouri team that went 12-2, including an SEC East Division title and a victory in the Cotton Bowl. The others are South Carolina’s Cody Waldrop, Mississippi State’s Dillon Day, Vanderbilt’s Joe Townsend, Kentucky’s Jon Toth, Alabama’s Ryan Kelly, Auburn’s Reese Dismukes, Texas A&M’s Mike Matthews, LSU’s Elliott Porter, Georgia’s David Andrews and Florida’s Max Garcia.

As a freshman, Boehm started all 12 games at left guard before converting to center.
