With a full slate on tap for Missouri athletics this weekend, the women’s basketball team announced that it will move its Saturday game against Bradley to 2 p.m. Sunday.
Missouri’s men’s basketball team plays host to West Virginia at 6 p.m. Thursday at Mizzou Arena in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. The game will be on ESPN2.
On Friday, the undefeated Tigers volleyball team opens the NCAA Tournament at home. Missouri, 34-0 and the No. 4 overall seed, plays IUPUI at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Hearnes Center.
With a win, the Tigers would play the Purdue-Central Arkansas winner (they play at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Hearnes) in the second round at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Of course, between those two volleyball games is quite the CBS doubleheader for Missouri fans.
First, the Tigers men’s basketball team plays No. 18 UCLA at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Mizzou Arena. Then there’s the SEC football championship game at 3 p.m. in Atlanta, pitting No. 5 Missouri against No. 3 Auburn.
Amidst all that, Missouri’s women were slated to play Bradley at 4 p.m. Saturday, which would have tipped off during the football game, but the Tigers and Braves agreed to move the game back one day.
Also, Missouri wrestling, which is ranked No. 9 in the nation, has a dual meet with Ohio at 5 p.m. Friday that was moved from Hearnes to Jesse Hall.
