Missouri’s regular-season finale against Arkansas has been moved to the Friday after Thanksgiving.
The first installment of the Battle Line Rivalry was played on the Friday after Thanksgiving last season, a 21-14 Tigers victory at Memorial Stadium, and MU officials hoped to lock down that timeslot in hopes of giving the burgeoning rivalry extra cachet.
That wish was granted Thursday when CBS announced that the Missouri at Arkansas game would be played at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 27 at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Ark.
CBS Sports also announced that it had added the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game between Louisville and Auburn, which is slated for 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, to its 2015 broadcast schedule.
Georgia at Vanderbilt (2:30 p.m., Sept. 12) and Auburn at LSU (2:30 p.m., Sept. 19) are the first two SEC games of the week, while the SEC Championship Game is scheduled for 3 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Georgia Dome.
