The Southeastern Conference is dropping anchor for its men’s basketball tournament in Nashville, Tenn.

The league announced Tuesday that the men’s tournament will played at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena nine times over an 11-year period starting in 2015.

The tournament won’t be in Nashville in 2018 and 2022, and St. Louis has put in bids and is expected to compete with Tampa, Fla., for the event in those years.

The 2014 SEC men’s tournament will be played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

The SEC women’s tournament, which will be played this season in Duluth, Ga., was announced for Nashville in 2018, 2022 and 2026.
