Tickets go on sale for SEC men’s basketball tourney

Tickets for the 2014 SEC men’s basketball tournament, scheduled for March 12-16 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, went on sale Tuesday.
A reserved book, which includes a ticket for all 13 games spread across seven sessions, costs $300.

It is the 11th time the Georgia Dome, which was host for the Final Four last season, will hold the SEC men’s basketball tourney.
All tickets for the first session on Wednesday, March 12, are general admission with seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
The winner of the SEC Tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament and seeding will determined by regular-season finish in conference play.
During its inaugural season in the SEC, Missouri reached the quarterfinals by knocking off Texas A before losing to eventual champion Mississippi.
