KU target Quentin Grimes puts Jayhawks in unofficial top three

At the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp, there were more than a few glimpses of the reasons Kansas coach Bill Self has made signing Quentin Grimes, one of the best best point guards in the Class of 2018, a priority. The 6-4, 175-pounder, whose mother is a KU alumnus, managed to get his hands in passing lanes defensively and create some easy buckets for himself and teammates off the dribble.

Fellow Chicagoan Sherron Collins helps convince Cal transfer Charlie Moore to pick KU

Charlie Moore, a 5-foot-11 guard who played for California last season, committed to play for the KU Jayhawks basketball team on Tuesday, making it official with a post on his Twitter account. He will have to sit out next season with three years of eligibility remaining after that. Moore knows all about Kansas’ basketball program partly because he followed fellow Chicago native Sherron Collins during his four seasons at KU.
