Former Miege basketball player, KU recruit Bol Bol commits to Oregon

Former Bishop Miege player Bol Bol, son of NBA player Manute Bol, has committed to play college basketball at Oregon. The Ducks made it to the Final Four last year, beating the Kansas Jayhawks in the Elite Eight at the Sprint Center in March. Bol also was recruited by KU and Creighton. “It came down to Oregon and Kentucky,” Bol wrote in The Players’ Tribune. “As someone who likes to do his own thing — and yeah, troll a little bit — I always rooted for Kentucky. In Kansas, cheering for the Wildcats is like against the law.”

KU recruit David McCormack at NBA Players Association Top 100 camp

David McCormack spent the high school basketball season somewhat overshadowed on a star-studded Oak Hill Academy team, a roster that included Kansas signee Billy Preston. But the spring and summer tour has been something of a breakout period for the 6-10 rising senior who has scholarship offers from KU, Baylor, Duke, Georgetown and a whole host of others.
