Fellow Chicagoan Sherron Collins helps convince Cal transfer Charlie Moore to pick KU

Charlie Moore, a 5-foot-11 guard who played for California last season, committed to play for the KU Jayhawks basketball team on Tuesday, making it official with a post on his Twitter account. He will have to sit out next season with three years of eligibility remaining after that. Moore knows all about Kansas’ basketball program partly because he followed fellow Chicago native Sherron Collins during his four seasons at KU.
