Kansas fans will have a new location — and way — to enjoy football games at Memorial Stadium this coming season.
On Thursday, KU Athletics announced the opening of “Field Goal Club,” which will be located on the north end of Memorial Stadium and restricted to those 21 and older. For a membership cost of $400 per person, fans will have access to beer, wine and water, along with food choices from Chick-fil-A and Salty Iguana via an a la carte menu.
According to a KU release, other amenities include:
▪ An “elevated viewing area on top of the club”
▪ “Field level viewing area just 10 feet away from the end zone”
▪ “First-come, first-served bleacher seating area complete with Jayhawk Seatbacks”
KU began accepting online requests for the new club area Thursday. To be eligible, fans must be Williams Fund members and also season-ticket holders.
The Jayhawks have seven home games in 2017, beginning with the season opener on Sept. 2 against Southeast Missouri State.
Alcohol is also allowed in luxury boxes and the Touchdown Club, which is located in the south end zone.
