Kansas State wide receiver Tyler Lockett and defensive end Ryan Mueller received second-team All-America honors Wednesday from the Football Writers Association of America.

Lockett and Mueller join Ty Zimmerman as the only Wildcats to place on the NCAA’s five recognized All-America teams. Zimmerman was on the Associated Press’ third team. The American Football Coaches Association, Walter Camp Football Foundation and the Sporting News are the other recognized All-America teams.
