Kansas' Devonté Graham and Bill Self have been voted best in the Big 12 by The Associated Press.
Graham won Big 12 player of the year, while Self was the conference's coach of the year, as the AP released its All-Big 12 basketball teams Tuesday afternoon.
Both men were honored Sunday as well, with Graham picking up the coaches' vote for player of the year while Self was co-coach of the year with Texas Tech's Chris Beard.
The AP and coaches' All-Big 12 teams had only one difference: Texas' Mohamed Bamba was placed on the first team in the AP ballot ahead of Kansas State's Dean Wade.
Graham was a unanimous AP first-team selection along with Oklahoma's Trae Young, who was voted as newcomer of the year.
KU and K-State had four of the five All-Big 12 second-team selections. KU was represented there by Udoka Azubuike and Svi Mykhailiuk, while K-State's Wade was joined by teammate Barry Brown.
The Jayhawks' Malik Newman received honorable mention.
Also Tuesday, Graham and Self won the U.S. Basketball Writers all-district player and coach of the year awards. Graham was joined on the all-district team, which encompasses Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, South Dakota and North Dakota, by teammate Udoka Azubuike, Kansas State's Barry Brown and Dean Wade, South Dakota State's Mike Daum, Creighton's Marcus Foster, Nebraska's James Palmer Jr., Missouri's Kassius Robertson, Iowa State's Lindell Wigginton, and Oklahoma's Trae Young.
