Kansas guards Frank Mason and Devonté Graham were chosen to the preseason coaches’ All-Big 12 men’s basketball team announced Thursday.
All of the Jayhawks’ projected backcourt was recognized on the team; KU’s Josh Jackson was chosen preseason freshman of the year.
Iowa State guard Monte Morris was chosen preseason player of the year and was joined on the all-conference team by Baylor forward Johnathan Motley and Oklahoma State guard Jawun Evans.
Baylor guard Manu Lecomte, a transfer from Miami (Fla.), is the preseason newcomer of the year.

No members of the 2016 All-Big 12 team return. Morris and Mason were second-team members, and Motley was on the third team. Graham was the most outstanding player of the Big 12 Tournament.
