The Chiefs drafted center Eric Kush of California University of Pennsylvania with the first of their two sixth round draft picks.

The Chiefs drafted Alabama linebacker Nico Johnson with the second pick in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. The 6-feet-2, 248-pound Johnson projects as an inside linebacker. He could compete for the starting spot alongside Derrick Johnson.
