It is not surprising that the Walt Disney Co. may immediately expand its Shanghai resort after it opens in late 2015.

People in China enjoy a lot of things about Western culture. That includes many Chinese people giving themselves American names.

On a recent trip I took to China, I found that to be an interesting aspect about the country and the people. Many people speak English and eagerly test their skills by talking with Americans.

The Disney Resort on close to 1,000 acres will fit in with the hunger in China for nearly everything American. Attendance at Disney in China is expected to top the company’s second most popular site, the Tokyo Disney Resort, which boasts 28 million visitors a year.

Disney in China is within a three-hour drive of about 330 million people, Bloomberg reports.
