When George W. Bush was president of the United States, a lot of embarrassed Americans living overseas dodged questions about where they were from and claimed Canada as their home.

Rob Ford is likely to have reversed that trend, prompting Canadians abroad and at home to claim that they’re from the U.S. or anywhere else. Ford is the mayor of Toronto, a city of about 2.5 million very embarrassed people — especially those who helped elect him.

The supersized politician initially made headlines when he was caught on tape smoking crack cocaine. Some have even labeled Ford Mayor McCrack after he admitted to using the illegal drug.

Ford has refused to resign from office. Then under the headline “can it get any worse?” Ford in an obscenity-strewn statement on live TV denied that he pressured a female staffer to have oral sex with him.

Ford, who has two children, said he was “happily married and enjoys enough oral sex at home, the New York Daily News reports. File that under TMI, or too much information.

The 44-year-old Ford later with his embarrassed wife, Renata, at his side said, “I used unforgivable language and again I apologize.” He added that he was getting professional help for his drinking problem.

Let’s hope it doesn’t stop there.
