Obama to speak in Warrensburg, in Republican Rep. Vicky Hartzler’s district

Did President Barack Obama forget to look at the congressional district map before he decided to come next week to Missouri, a red state, and land in Warrensburg, an even redder city? That 4th District college town is Republican U.S. Rep. Vicky Hartzler’s domain.

Did President Barack Obama forget to look at the congressional district map before he decided to come next week to Missouri, a red state, and land in Warrensburg, an even redder city?

That 4th District college town is Republican U.S. Rep. Vicky Hartzler’s domain. In rural communities people have been coached to hate Obamacare, to hate the president’s policies and appointments, and to hate him.

Yet, Obama plans to visit Warrensburg on Wednesday to talk about the economy. Warrensburg is home of the University of Central Missouri. It is about 65 miles east of downtown Kansas City on U.S. 50.

It’s close to Whiteman Air Force Base, home of the stealth bomber. Obama can quickly go there if he want to speak to a really friendly audience.
