Before the first inning was even over on Thursday night, Royals center fielder Jarrod Dyson made one of the best catches you will ever see.
With two outs in the inning, Dyson robbed Marlins left fielder Christian Yelich of a home run in dead center field. According to MLB’s Statcast, Dyson reached 19.8 mph while covering 98 feet on the play. Yelich’s blast traveled 414 feet before Dyson ran up part of the padded wall and grabbed it.
The score remained at 0-0 entering the second inning.
