JEFFERSON CITY | Missouri's environmental agency has reorganized some of its divisions, with changes in some management positions.
The Department of Natural Resources on Thursday merged its environmental quality and field services divisions, with Leanne Tippett Mosby to serve as acting director.
Mosby is the former head of water protection. A new acting director for administrative support also was appointed.
DNR spokesman Travis Ford says the former directors of the environmental quality, field services and administrative support divisions remain on the payroll but no longer serve as managers.
Ford says the changes are intended to improve the department's operations.
