A Kansas City strip club is advertising as its headliner a week from Friday the porn star who was reportedly paid $130,000 to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Donald Trump before he was president.
Legs Party Bar says on its website that Stormy Daniels will appear there Feb. 2-3.
Trump has denied having a relationship with Daniels when he was a reality TV star and his wife, Melania, had only recently given birth to their son.
The 38-year-old Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has also denied the affair and taking hush money from Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, weeks before the 2016 presidential election.
But several media outlets have reported that Clifford was considering sharing her story with them prior to the alleged payoff.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump met Clifford at a golf event in 2006. She began talking with ABC News in the fall of 2016, the newspaper said, for a story about the alleged relationship with Trump, but the payment from Cohen bought her silence.
Legs does not mention the alleged connection with Trump in its online advertisements, but the ads make clear that the bar’s owners are well aware that the name Stormy Daniels is trending.
Tables are available for reservation only, the bar’s website says, beckoning customers to “Come see Twitter Sensation And the most controversial Adult Entertainer of all Time.”
Legs owner John Ribaste said he booked Daniels about a month ago, before her name was in so many headlines.
“Before all the drama,” he said, but noted that it turned out to be “some good drama for me.”
He said he has no plans to up his regular $10 cover charge just because Daniels is national news all of a sudden.
“It’ll be a sold-out deal for sure,” he said.
