Library book sale starts Thursday

Library sells used books, CDs

People can choose from thousands of used books at the Fall Used Book Sale held by the Johnson County Library and Friends of the Johnson County Library this week at the Antioch Library, 8700 Shawnee Mission Parkway.

The sale will run 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Most of the books and CDs will cost 50 cents or $1. Checks, MasterCard, Discover and Visa are accepted with identification.

Proceeds will help purchase new library materials, fund library programs for all ages, and train library staff and volunteers.
