Pringles
Age: Adult
Breed: Labrador retriever/collie mix
Gender: Male
Description: What a sweet little guy! Pringles is very affectionate, sensitive and somewhat submissive little dog, easy, loving and oh so charming! Pringles is on the small size for a Lab mix. No more than 35-40 pounds or so. He’s a young adult and has an adorable little grin. He really is a little treasure.
Pringles has been transferred to foster care. Here’s a note from the foster mom: “Things are going really well. Everyone is getting along great. Valerie and Pringles are two of the sweetest babies ever! Valerie, who seemed so timid at first, is really funny and playful. Pringles is just a sweet goofball. When it’s time for bed, he goes straight to his kennel and lays down.”
If interested, please fill out our On-Line Application. Adopting a foster dog allows you to have more information about how the dog behaves in a home. In addition, it opens a spot in the foster program so we can save another dog who is running out of time. Please consider opening your heart to a foster dog.

Shelter information: Halfway Home Pet Adoptions receives animals from the Kansas City Animal Health and Public Safety Division and from public drop-off.
Because it operates as the Kansas City animal pound, it does not decline any animal intake from Kansas City, Mo., residents. The euthanasia rate is high as the shelter must make room for new arrivals on a daily basis.
Halfway Home collaborates with several rescue groups in the region to get animals transferred. If you are a “licensed” rescue group and would like to offer assistance, please send e-mail to email@petshalfwayhome.com, or call 816-784-4001.
The shelter is open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m., but is closed on Sundays when the Chiefs are in town.
