Moreland Ridge Middle School to perform “Beauty and the Beast”

Moreland Ridge Middle School will be performing Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” on Blue Springs South High School’s stage Nov. 13 and 14.

This is the first time a middle school has produced the show in the Blue Springs area.

The musical will have all the favorite characters from the Disney movie. Alyse Engle is playing Belle, Noah Leith as the Beast and Jacob Zellich as Gaston. Other characters include Chris Bueno as Lefou, Julia Curry as Mrs. Potts, Eli Salazar as Lumiere, Conner Uptegrove as Cogsworth, Madison Ainsworth as Madame De La Grande the Wardrobe, Antonia Carpenter as Babette, Ashton Henson as Chip and Davey Sooley and Paul Cornish enjoying the roles of Maurice and Monsieur D’Arque.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 and 1 and 7 p.m. Nov. 14. Presale $6 tickets are available at 816-224-1800. Tickets at the door are $8 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.
