Hundreds of students from West Boca Raton Community High School in south Florida walked out of class on February 20, and a large number of them began a 13 mile walk to Parkland, where 17 people were killed in a Valentine’s Day shooting. The Boca students chanted “We want change,” and “no justice, no peace” as they gathered outside their school.
A Minnesota State Patrol officer stopped to help a motorist Wednesday whose vehicle got wrapped up in a large piece of plastic wrap on Highway 52 in Inver Grove Heights. The driver said the plastic wrap flew off a dump truck and engulfed his SUV.

Moberly Police Department in Missouri had an unexpected visitor on Valentine’s Day, as CCTV footage shared to their Facebook page on February 14 shows. The clip features somebody dressed up as a T-rex entering the police station, carrying what appears to be a box of cookies. He walks up and down the hall, before going to the front desk and delivering the cookies. “Today the Moberly Police Department turned into Jurassic Park when we were met by a T-rex delivering cookies. Whoever you are, thank you for the cookies and the laughs,” the department captioned the video.
Police are looking for five male suspects who fled the scene of an armed robbery at a north Fort Worth game room Wednesday. One wore a clown mask and carried a rifle that closely resembled an AK-47. An 18-year-old woman was shot in the leg during the robbery, and was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in stable condition, according to MedStar. Surveillance video shows the suspects opening fire as soon as they enter the business. White ceiling fragments can be seen falling from the impact of multiple rounds fired. At least six customers inside the game room had been robbed of their cash and wallets.
A 19-year-old suspected of killing at least 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in a mass shooting on February 14 was arrested a short distance from the school on the same day. The suspect was named as Nikolas Cruz, and charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder.
