A double shooting Tuesday night in Kansas City, Kan., left two men in critical condition.
The shooting was reported at 7:10 p.m. in the parking lot of a music and video store at 33rd Street and Parallel Parkway, where the victims were shot while inside a vehicle, Officer Troy Rice said.
The men, both thought to be in their mid-20s, were rushed to a hospital.
Police were looking for two men who fled the scene in a maroon GMC Yukon, possibly a Denali. The assailants fired multiple shots, Rice said, but it was unclear whether they fired from inside or outside their vehicle.
Rice said that it was unclear what led up to the shooting but that there was no indication that the business was involved.
