To boost his re-election drive, Gov. Sam Brownback is bringing former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum to Kansas for a day of campaigning.
Santorum, a conservative who won the 2012 Kansas presidential caucus and may run for president again in 2016, will make two stops for Brownback, including one in KCK.
That event will be the first of the two rallies and will be at 11:30 a.m. July 14 at the Community America Ballpark at the Legends, 1800 Village Parkway.
Gates will open at 10:30 a.m., and the event is billed as something for the entire family. More information here.
Santorum also will make a late-afternoon stop in Wichita the same day.
