Milton Wolf wants six debates with Sen. Pat Roberts between now and the August primary — an average of roughly one debate every ten days.
Wolf, opposing Roberts in the GOP primary in Kansas, wants two debates in Kansas City, two in Wichita, and two in Topeka.
“If Pat Roberts refuses this debate schedule he should offer a counter plan, or an explanation as to why he refuses to debate the issues with me,” Wolf’s statement said.
Six debates are unlikely. Any debates at all are a question mark.
Wolf’s release also mentions Thad Cochran, the incumbent in Mississippi who recently finished behind a tea party challenger in the GOP primary there.
Chris McDaniel will face Cochran in a runoff later this month.
