Missouri Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler ordered an aide on Tuesday to move a flag so that it blocked a portrait of President Barack Obama for a TV interview she was about to conduct.

“Oh, dear, I’ll never live that one down,” she said a few moments later

after she was questioned by veteran political reporter Rudi Keller

of the Columbia Daily Tribune.

The Harrisonville Republican has criticized the president repeatedly since her 2010 election.

Asked directly on Tuesday if she had a problem with the president, Hartzler tried to make light of the situation, Keller reported.

“So there’s going to be an article about that, eh?” she asked.

Yes, there is.
