President Barack Obama will make his second visit to the Kansas City area in two months Friday when he visits the Ford plant in Claycomo, the White House said Sunday.
Obama will “highlight the progress we have made since the beginning of the financial crisis five years ago and the work that lies ahead to continue strengthening our economy,” a spokeswoman said.
The White House did not release the time of the visit or any other details. That information is expected mid-week.
Obama visited the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg on July 24 when he also focused on the economy.
