State records show the Civic Council has given another $100,000 to the campaign for the half-cent health research sales tax in Jackson County. J.E. Dunn

has given $100,000 as well.

That means the supporters’ committee — the

Committee for Research Treatments and Cures

— has collected roughly $410,000.

At the same time,

Brad Bradshaw

of Springfield has given his committee another $56,000 on top of the $50,000 he’s already donated.

Bradshaw opposes the sales tax.

Total fundraising now exceeds half a million dollars, with two months to go before the election.

More money is coming.
