Americans for Prosperity is planning a caravan to Jefferson City on Sept. 11, as lawmakers gather to consider overriding Gov. Jay Nixon’s

veto of a tax cut bill.

The stakes in the tax cut dispute continue to go up. Nixon has campaigned relentlessly against the tax cut measure, but the other side has raised millions of dollars in a campaign to support HB 253.

The AFP caravan meets in Independence at 8:00 a.m. Sept. 11.
