suggests that Americans are starting to miss ol’ George W. Bush.
For the first time in eight years, more Americans have a favorable view of him than an unfavorable view.
The breakdown: 49 percent have a positive opinion of the two-term Republican president compared with 46 percent who feel otherwise.
Things have turned around for Bush since he left office in 2009. Then, he carried a positive rating of 40 percent and an unfavorable rating of 59 percent.
History shows, though, that attitudes toward former presidents generally improve the longer they are out of office.
