A Tonganoxie woman pleaded no contest Wednesday to a charge of stealing at least $110,000 from the company where she worked as a bookkeeper.
Dorothy Kay Lean, 56, pleaded no contest and was found guilty in Leavenworth County District Court of five counts of felony theft, according to Leavenworth County prosecutors.
Prosecutors said that while Lean worked at McGraw Fertilizer in Tonganoxie, she wrote unauthorized checks to herself for more than four years, beginning in January 2011.
Her sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 1.
