Following a two-hour standoff early Friday, Kansas City police arrested a man suspected of shooting his sister.
Police went to a residence in the 3800 block of Agnes Avenue shortly after 3 a.m. and found a woman outside with a gunshot wound to the leg. She told police her brother shot her and was alone inside the residence.
Police asked the man to surrender, but he refused. Negotiators were summoned.
The man surrendered about 5 a.m.
