A group of men attempted to break down the front door of a Raytown gun shop early Tuesday, but the perpetrators only left with bruised shoulders, store owners said Wednesday.
A large man in a black sweatshirt and wearing what appeared to be a female wig slammed his shoulders into the front entry of Blue Steel Guns & Ammo approximately 3:10 a.m. Tuesday. Three other men in hooded sweatshirts helped him, store security footage shows, and tried to ram down the door with their bodies.
On Facebook on Wednesday, a store owner said the men attempted their break-in for roughly 60 seconds and then moved along.
Anyone who may have information about the identity of the men is encouraged to call the store at 816-358-8004.
