Police identify Kansas City man fatally shot during argument
A man found mortally wounded following an apparent argument Tuesday night was identified by Kansas City police on Thursday as Hernandez Green, 45.
Kansas City police were sent to the 6000 block of Blue Hills Road at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday and found Green in an apartment complex parking lot. He died at a hospital.
Witnesses told police that the victim had been arguing with another man when the man pulled out a gun and shot Green.
Green’s son, Hernandez Green II, 26, was found shot to death in the 4500 block of Park Avenue on June 30, 2014.
Both homicides remain unsolved.
