Kansas City police said a man sustained a gunshot wound Sunday night after he and another man exchanged gunfire after an argument about money.
The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. in the 6800 block of Wilson Road. Officers were sent there and found an apparent crime scene. The officers were sent to a hospital where the shooting victim had been taken by a friend.
The shooting victim later told police that he and the other man argued about money and they both brandished weapons and started shooting at each other.
The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury. His condition was not immediately available.
Police continued their investigation Monday.
