Robbery suspects arrested after chase from KCK to KC

Two armed robbery suspects were arrested Wednesday morning after a high-speed chase across the state line.

Kansas City, Kan., police said that the robbery occurred about 8 a.m. near Kansas Avenue and Pyle Street. About an hour later, an officer spotted a suspect vehicle near 12th Street and Central Avenue and attempted to pull it over. The occupants fled and drove into Missouri where they abandoned the car near 10th and Holmes Street.

The two suspects were arrested after a brief foot chase. Police reported finding a shotgun and cash in the abandoned vehicle.
