A Kansas City, Kan., man was found guilty Friday of killing two people, including a teenage girl, in a 2012 shooting.

A Wyandotte County jury deliberated most of the day before finding 21-year-old Eric D. Clay guilty of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, aggravated battery and criminal discharge of a firearm. Sentencing is scheduled for July 14.

The March 4, 2012, shooting at an apartment in the 2100 block of S. Mill Street killed Renesha Jones, 16, and Keith E. Barrett, 21. Barrett’s infant son was wounded. Jones was the boy’s aunt and was babysitting him when the shooting occurred.
