Kansas City police are looking for two robbers who ambushed two men in a hotel parking lot Monday night in an apparent set-up.
The victims told police they pulled into the parking lot of the Four Points by Sheraton hotel at 4011 Blue Ridge Cutoff just before 9 p.m. to meet a woman they met on Facebook. When they pulled into the back parking lot and parked next to her vehicle, she suddenly drove away. Two men then accosted them, approaching on each side of the vehicle. One of the men pulled a gun and stole $500 from one victim. The other man stole the other victim’s wallet. The robbers told the victims to run away.
Police searched the area but could not find the robbers.
