A man who was allegedly connected to a nationwide robbery crew was sentenced Monday for the hold-up of a Kansas City, Kan., Verizon Wireless store.
A federal judge sentenced Terry Curtis to six years and one month in prison for being the getaway car driver after the Sept. 14, 2016, robbery of the business at 10621 Village West Parkway.
Curtis, 34, of Rockford, Ill., is one of five Illinois men accused of committing the robbery, which netted about $53,000 in cash and merchandise.
Charges against the other four men are pending.
