A 20-year-old Olathe man is charged with attempted murder after allegedly firing shots that hit two occupied cars in Shawnee.
Neither driver was hit in the incident that occurred about 8 p.m. Friday, according to Shawnee police.
Keith Perisho was arrested after the incident and on Saturday he was charged in Johnson County District Court with attempted second-degree murder, discharge of a firearm into a motor vehicle and obstruction of legal process.
His bond is set at $500,000 and he is scheduled to make an initial court appearance Monday afternoon.

Police said that Perisho and another man, who did not know each other, got into an argument before Perisho allegedly fired shots into the man’s vehicle in the 19500 block of Shawnee Mission Parkway.
Bullets also hit another vehicle not involved in the incident, according to police.
