A male passenger on a ATA bus reportedly subdued another male passenger after the second man pulled a knife on a woman after an argument.
The incident occurred Saturday afternoon on a Troost MAX bus at East 47th Street and Troost Avenue.
According to Kansas City Area Transportation Authority officials, a man and woman were arguing when the man pulled out a knife.
A male passenger intervened and the armed man got off the bus, according to transportation authority officials.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Police detained the man armed with the knife, transportation authority officials said.
