Kansas City police have arrested a man suspected of firing several shots from a building at 39th and Walnut streets Monday morning.
Police responded to the shooting about 9:30 a.m. Arriving officers arrested a man with a rifle, who walked outside the building, laid the rifle on the ground and surrendered.
Two people at the scene told police they had been in a dispute with the man, who shot at them as they left the area.
The two people were not injured, police said.

A witness, Ty Turner, said he heard about five gunshots.
Police said they have found no evidence that anyone was struck by the gunfire.
