The Kansas City Police Department is having community open houses at all six of its patrol stations from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the open houses are an opportunity for residents to meet the officers who work in their area, learn what officers are doing in their neighborhoods and to ask questions of officers and commanders.

The six stations: North Patrol at 1001 N.W. Barry Road; Shoal Creek Patrol at 6301 N.E. Pleasant Valley Road; Central Patrol at 1200 E. Linwood Blvd.; East Patrol at 5301 E. 27th Street; Metro Patrol at 7601 Prospect Avenue; and South Patrol at 9701 Marion Park Drive.
