Man fatally shot near 56th and Hardesty in Kansas City
Police were investigating a homicide Sunday after a man was fatally shot in Kansas City.
Officers responded to the shooting about 11:20 a.m. near 56th Street and Hardesty Avenue.
When police arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a hospital, and he soon died.
Police on Sunday night released a photograph of a person of interest in the case they wish to speak to. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the homicide unit at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
