Victim identified in fatal KCK hit-and-run

Police said that Santiago Zamora-Zamora was either riding or pushing a bicycle when he was killed last Friday in the vicinity of 18th Street Expressway and Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, Kan.

The victim of a fatal hit-and-run incident in Kansas City, Kan., was identified Thursday as Santiago Zamora-Zamora.

Zamora-Zamora, 40, of Kansas City, Kan., was found dead Tuesday afternoon in the 1800 block of Bayard Avenue, but police said they believe he was struck by an unknown vehicle between 6 and 8 a.m. last Friday.

He was either pushing or riding a red bicycle when he was struck on southbound 18th Street Expressway just north of the Kansas Avenue off ramp, according to police.
